“How to teach children“
A manual for teachers of children
u It is a great responsibility to have the opportunity to
teach children within the all age Bible study. Our goal is to change
lives; we want to give a spiritual foundation to children so that they
can accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior when the Holy Spirit
will prompt them to do it. We want to help them grow in the likeness of
Christ and prepare them for a life of service.
u We can learn many techniques and methods of teaching in
order to become more effective. However, in order to reach our goal, we
need to teach the Bible and to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit. We
need to establish a good relationship with the children and their
parents, to live an exemplary Christian life, and to be ready to give
God an account regarding our work.
u This manual gives you a foundation for the general
training of a teacher.
